Protecting your personal data matters to us. This policy explains which data we process when you visit our website, for what purposes and on what legal basis. We process data exclusively in accordance with the applicable law (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR, Austrian Data Protection Act – DSG, Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 – TKG 2021).

2. Hosting
Our website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, on servers in Germany. Hetzner processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. No data is transferred to countries outside the EU or EEA.
3. Visiting the website
When you visit our website, technically necessary data is processed so that the page can be delivered to your device: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, amount of data transferred, and browser and operating system.
This data is only processed for the duration of the connection and is not stored in log files.
The service that processes the contact form logs no personal data: neither IP addresses nor the content of the form.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Contact form and email
When you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, organisation, role, your "I am …" selection and your message), as well as the page from which you sent the form, the selected language and the time of your enquiry. We use this data exclusively to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions.
To prevent misuse, such as mass automated submissions, your IP address is briefly processed when you submit the form and is not stored.
After you submit the form, we send an automatic confirmation to the email address you entered. It only contains your name, the topic you selected and the time of your request, not your message. So that the form cannot be used to send emails to other people, we send at most one confirmation per address per day. For this, a non-reversible check value of the address is kept in the server's memory for at most 24 hours; it is not stored.
With a checkbox in the form, you confirm that you have read this privacy policy.
The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and in protecting the form against misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Form data is sent to us by email. For sending emails and operating our mailbox, we use Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online) provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland, as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR). The data is stored in Austria and processed within Microsoft's EU Data Boundary. Where Microsoft transfers limited data to the USA, this is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Microsoft is certified, and on the standard contractual clauses in Microsoft's Data Protection Addendum.
We store your enquiry for six months after our communication has ended. If a business relationship results, the statutory retention periods apply. We do not pass your data on to third parties beyond the processors named above.
5. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking services. No third-party content is embedded.
6. Fonts
We use the Jost typeface, hosted locally on our server. No connection to servers of Google or other third parties is established when you visit the website.
7. Links to other websites
Our website contains links to other websites, such as LinkedIn. If you follow such a link, you leave our website. The operator of the target site is responsible for any data processing there.
8. Your rights
You generally have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, contact info@traq-safe.com.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at, www.dsb.gv.at.
